Production Log week 4

Week 4 - 19th January 2015 to 26th January 2015

Since last week I continued, working on my documentary via final cut pro, and was able to get up to section 8. I also created 4 new graphics, one of the documentary title, one of the presenter's name, one of a graphic for house and am going to put them in at one point.
A logistical challenge i faced this week was that I noticed that i was missing a scene and need to have it filmed to that will be done soon and I gave up on getting 2 interviews as there was no point waiting any longer for them to respond as they they didn't up to this point. the 2 I gave up on was the Pasqualina and Domics as Pasqualina didn't answer any of my emails. To replace these two I am going to add a new scene which will be about what the 3 games are of each platform. I also hope to be able to maybe get one possible interview with another youtuber if i can but it will be a very long shot.
There were no technical challenges I faced that week.
Before the next entry I would need to finish the documentary and upload it as this is the last week on to finish it Also I need to go to a game shop and ask to Vox pop someone, as that can help fill out my documentary a bit and have the missing scene filmed.

Production log week 3

Week 3 - 4th January 2015 to 18th January 2015

Since last week I have created all the interview images that will come up, the questions images for the vox pops, the first 5 sections and uploaded the gameplay to go on in the background onto youtube.

A logistical challenge I faced was the fact that I was missing like 2 shots, which was one with the presenter, and an interview with a youtuber who still hasn't replied, if she hasn't replied by Thursday next week I will cut her interview out of the video and leave her out of it.
A technical challenge i had to over come was finding something that could use the gameplay footage files, as they were not mp4 or something easy to use but m2ts which meant I had to upload them to youtube before I could use them on final cut.
By next Sunday I would like to get the interview sorted out and the one scene left undone and then all I would have to do is the other couple of shots to be uploaded, lastly I want to get the second vox pop filmed while I am in Ilford on Monday, in which I was planing on going to the game shop and asking if they want to be interviewed for a bit and this will get a different idea of what they think of games
Baring in mind that the final editing date is Monday a week from now means I have to step it up and make sure everything is filmed and ready before hand so that I can have it all ready to be edited and uploaded on that day.

Production log week 2

Week - 21st December 2014 - 4th January 2015

These two weeks are clumped together as they were during a holiday, On the monday (22nd of December) I was meant to interview pasqualina but she never responded if she was available to be interviewed so it didn't happen. Later that week I stated that I was going to interview yacht clubs games but they actually emailed back beforehand and that came the week before. Into January, on the 2nd, I planned on guessed that I would get a response from Abdallah with his interview answers but I again got them before the holidays. I also had planned on recording all of the footage needed to be done by the presenter on the 3rd but he couldn't film as he was busy that day so it was rescheduled to Tuesday the 6th of january. I was also meant to get the third vox pop filmed on sunday the 28th but I didn't get to film as I didn't attend church that day so I changed my plan and went to film it on the 4th of January which was also a Sunday, but I wasn't in Chadwell Heath at the time as I was away for a few days and couldn't film there. I did however get to sort out the images I plan on using and sorted out how the 

the different emails I have planned will look. These include section 3 which is the sales of games now compared to how they sold before, The disclaimer and the top selling games of 2014.

So no sections were filmed in the holidays but the sections I did complete are, section 3, 1, 4, and 6.

Next week I plan on recording vox pop 1 and filming all the presenter footage and uploading all of that/ editing anything.

Production log week 1

Week - 14th December to 20th December 2014

This week I interviewed protomario on Tuesday which was section ten, This was done over skype as a message interview as protomario wants to keep his identity hidden for security reasons, During the interview I messaged him all the questions one by one and answered them afterwards. On the friday later that week I received a camcorder to use as to record anything needed to be recorded. On the side of responses, i got a response from David from Yacht club games who also answered all my questions i sent to them on the same day, when I add the answers to the video i will be getting a voice over to read out the answers. Also on the 12th of december I got 2 responses from Calvin (Castor) and Pasqualina, Calvin stated he has a really busy schedule and couldn't do it and Pasqualina said yes and asked when i was available to record. Lastly I got a response from abdallah in which he answered all the question I sent him on the same day.
I planned on getting the first two vox pops filmed on the friday but I didn't as I had not been feeling well and could not go out.
The sections which are now done are sections 13 and 10.
